Venereology is the branch of medicine dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, which may be from bacterial, viral, fungal, or parasitic origins. Venereal diseases, because of their location, may cause serious threats to health and even the life of the patient; therefore, if you see some alarming symptoms, such as itching, pain, rash, or skin changes, you must react immediately.
Despite the fact that venereology is a discipline that focuses on venereal diseases, the majority of people are embarrassed and hindered from visiting a doctor. However, you should keep in mind that curing diseases of this type is often possible, and each day of delay exacerbates the disease. The longer infections go untreated, the longer and more serious will the treatment be once treatment is begun. A properly chosen therapy also eliminates the discomfort associated with venereal diseases.

A consultant venerologist, after the initial consultation with the patient and conducting an interview in order to confirm the diagnosis, may recommend that the patient carry out specific laboratory tests. These tests are completely safe and painless, and their performance can determine the presence of different types of bacteria, protozoa, viruses, or fungi, the existence of which causes morbidity – including human papilloma virus – HPV.
Sexually transmitted diseases are caused by infections that are passed from one person to another during sexual contact. These infections often do not cause any symptoms. The most common is an infection caused by Chlamydia trachomatis, but also syphilis, gonorrhoea, chancroid, non-gonococcal urethritis, lymphogranuloma venerum, donovanosis, and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). In addition to those mentioned, during sexual intercourse, other infections may also be passed, including contagious diseases and parasites-related diseases. Their diagnosis is based on the use of one of the following methods: direct bacteriological examination, culture, the serological method, or the enzyme-immunoassay method.
Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, which results from the HVP virus, is a fully treatable disease. Eruptions of irregular shape can be treated with one of several methods, selected individually for each case. Complications of the virus occur in approx. 1% of the population, which is a carrier of HPV, and lesions occur most frequently on intimate places. Although these changes are not painful, their occurrence causes a huge discomfort, so it is important to diagnose them and take appropriate treatment, because they may cause many serious diseases if left untreated.
Cryosurgery is a treatment performed using nitrous oxide, which is a gas of a temperature of -89°C, which can be found in the offer of our clinic. A low temperature allows us to freeze, or destruct skin tissue affected by the process of the excessive and abnormal growth of the epidermis of the dermis. During the procedure, the vessels of the skin are changed as a result of the freezing of the diseased state of the tissue.

• the clinic being unable to send newsletters to inform about our new services or exclusive offers
• the clinic being unable to send invoices for service received at the clinic
• the clinic being unable to send medical reports, medical documentation, treatment plans
• the patient being unable to use our credit facilities
• the patient being unable to book an appointment via our website
All information given will be kept confidential. No personal details will be passed on to third parties nor shared with companies / people outside of the company other than our subcontractors doctors working on a self-employment basis.
Clients/patients have the right to be forgotten. If an individual makes a written request to be forgotten, we must remove all data from our databases, which processes are handled by our manager.
Please note that we will be unable to erase client medical records, which are required as evidence of our clinical practice.
We will however, be able to delete individuals personal data from any email correspondence, booking and contact form data such as name, email, phone, DOB, contact message.
Calls may be monitored and recorded for record-keeping, training and quality-assurance purposes. You may, however, object to your conversation being recorded by informing our receptionist at the beginning of the conversation.
