One of the most important examinations for infants that assess the development of the hip joints is the USG examination performed between 6 and 12 weeks of age. In some countries, including the UK, this hip examination is carried out physically after the baby is born; however, it is not accurate, because there are many defects that cannot be identified during the routine newborn’s physical examination, even if the physician is well experienced. The most precise is the ultrasonographic scan that is non-invasive diagnostic method and fully safe.
Incorrect stature is a common ailment of modern times, which is classed as a disease of civilization that mainly results from today’s lifestyle. Ignoring disorders in young patients may lead to serious afflictions in the future. In our clinic, after a previous examination at an orthopaedist, the patient visits a physiatrist. In this way, the patient is under the care of two specialists that, in strict cooperation, develop a recovery program that takes into account individual needs of the patient regarding his medical condition.
Our clinic also offers professional rehabilitation and physiotherapy for adults and children. Experienced personnel will help you and your children get a full recovery and bring back the fitness level from before the injury of any type by means of individually selected exercises or massages. We also correct bad posture, treat spinal diseases, ailments caused by past surgeries, or injuries that become more troublesome with age. At Medicare patients affected by multiple sclerosis will find care.
